Keelboat Women – Yngling Bullets For Germany And Norway

A superb day’s racing in the strong Meltemi winds gave Germany and Norway their first bullets, in winds averaging 20 knots with gusts up to 25.

 

Star and Tornado Update

The Star and Tornado fleets, the last two events to start in the Olympic Sailing Competition, host seventeen boats apiece. Into day five of measurement, the Measurement Team went through the checks with amongst others the highly favoured pairings of Roman HAGARA and Hans Peter STEINACHER (AUT) in the Tornado, and Colin BEASHEL and David GILES (AUS) in the Star.

 

Single-handed Dinghy Men   Day Three - Ben Bites Back

On the third day of racing for the Finn class here at the Olympic Games, the fleet was one of only two to be sent out onto the Saronic Gulf as blustery Meltemi conditions created a wind speed that was too high on many of the course areas.
