The big lake may be, ironically, the best kept secret among anglers throughout the upper midwest and for the next few months its best "spot" is in the Illiana corner.

Captain Tony Bovenzo (Diamond Ghost Charters.com) is a familiar fixture at area sports shows, standing behind his high-legged table, flipping frantically through a pile of photo albums to show the quality of the Lake Michigan salmon and trout fishery today.
