Port Huron's waterfront is an asset the city relies on with the only drawback being not many people know much about the various points of interest along the way.
The city hoped to correct that with a grant of as much as $50,000 that will pay for informational signs along the water.
"It fits perfectly with our goal of making Port Huron a more exciting place to live, work and visit," City Manager Tom Hutka said. "For us, it's where the rubber hits the road."
