Readying Lake Michigan Cargo Boat For 102nd Year of Sailing

A crew from Milwaukee is putting finishing repairs on the boat that more than 100 years old...and it still hauls freight around the Great Lakes.

The boat, which is nearly two football-fields long, carries 63 tons of cement around Lake Michigan every year, and there have been rumors for 16 years about its demise, but each year, it keeps going.   more...
