Museum Offers Tall Ship Sailing Adventures

South Haven, MI— Pack your sea-bag and come aboard the 1812 replica tall ship Friends Good Will. The tall ship of the Michigan Maritime Museum offers the ultimate historical sailing experience on several Long-Distance Adventures. Passengers will crew under the stars, sleep in bunks, and take part in a watch sequence. Each will rotate through the positions of helmsman, lookout, navigation, and watchman. “Friends Good Will will sail during the night and the passenger-crew will enjoy a hearty meal prepared by the Ship’s Cook,” states Captain Jerry Lawrence.

Great to see coverage of a Tall Ship. Hopefully as the American Sail Training Association's (ASTA) TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE series comes to the Great Lakes in July we will see additional coverage. Jonathan Harley ASTA Race Director6/6/2006 10:23:47 AM
